Cancellation Policy

At Keifs Catering, our primary aim is to provide you with unparalleled service and ensure that your event is memorable for all the right reasons. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible when those changes affect your catering needs. To help manage expectations and maintain a transparent relationship with our clients, we have outlined our cancellation policy below.

Deposit Information

Upon booking your event with us, a deposit is required to secure your date and commence the preparation for your event. This deposit serves two crucial purposes: 

  1. Securing Your Event Date: Your deposit guarantees that your event date is reserved exclusively for you, preventing other potential bookings from taking your spot. 

  1. Initial Preparation Costs: The deposit is immediately utilized to cover initial costs associated with your event, including, but not limited to, ordering food supplies. This ensures that we can start the preparation process promptly and meet your expectations without delay. 

Cancellation Terms

  • Nonrefundable Deposits: Please be aware that once paid, deposits are nonrefundable. This policy is in place because securing your event date means turning away other potential clients for the same date, and the deposit is often used immediately to begin preparations for your event. 

  • Transferring Your Date: We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to a need to change your event date. Should you need to cancel your original event date, we offer the flexibility to transfer your deposit to a new date, subject to our availability. This option allows you to adjust your plans without losing the value of your deposit. 

Testing Policy

  • Option for a testing session for a non-refundable $250, adjustable against the final order amount if proceeded.

Procedure for Cancellation or Date Changes

  1. Notification: To cancel or request a change to your event date, please contact us as soon as possible. The more notice we have, the better we can accommodate your needs. 

  1. Review: We will review our schedule to determine our availability for your new requested date. We aim to be as flexible as possible, but please understand that availability can be limited, especially during peak seasons. 

  1. Confirmation: Once a new date has been agreed upon, we will confirm the change in writing. If no suitable date can be found, the deposit will remain nonrefundable as per our cancellation policy.
